LEM/UFPA extension actions in the training of mathematics teachers in Salinópolis (PA)

This paper presents an experience report on the implementation of the 1st Training Cycle for Elementary School Mathematics Teachers in Salinópolis, designed and implemented by the Mathematics Teaching Laboratory (LEM) of UFPA (Salinópolis/PA university campus). This event was an important extension action of the LEM in the municipality and in other municipalities located in the northeast region of the state of Pará (Brazil). The event had 130 registered participants, including elementary school teachers, higher education professors and students of the mathematics degree course at UFPA Salinópolis. The program included multiple activities, such as round table, panel, lectures, mini-courses and exhibition of mathematical games, which allowed mathematics teachers at different stages of training to reflect on the teaching and learning of mathematics, in addition to allowing them to share experiences arising from their teaching profession.
