Abstract

Neste artigo, é feita uma investigação acerca daconstrução histórica do conceito de função rumoa sua definição atual, identificando as principaisetapas evolutivas desse processo. O objetivo dotrabalho é identificar o papel desempenhado ea contribuição dada pelo desenvolvimento dasdiferentes formas de representação semiótica naevolução desse conceito matemático para, assim,melhor utilizar as representações no processode construção do conceito de função em salade aula.
