Abstract

Este artigo tem por objetivo discutir conceitosque aparecem de modo divergente na literaturasobre etnomatemática. Considerando-a desde agestação de suas ideias até a contemporaneidade,veremos como a teoria tem sido apropriada porprofessores e pesquisadores e quais contribuiçõespoderiam ser dadas para a educação matemáticase a etnomatemática fosse assumida com umanova disciplina.
